proof is simply a prediction of what you will see on press.
Yet proofing is far from simple. There's a myriad of new
proofs- both brands and types. Some of the new proofs are
replacing industry standards (Will the blueline soon become
a dinosaur?). Being able to compare and judge the proofs
that you get from your suppliers is critical to effective
print buying.
