GENERAL SUMMARY:

      The full-time production coordinator is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service to the marketing department to ensure all production needs are met for all marketing creative and collateral. The position will coordination all production estimates, costs and vendor discounts, and work as part of the creative team to ensure on-time deliverables while meeting quality standards. 

           

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

·   Extensive knowledge of job/production management software programs.

·   Established technical knowledge of various media such as print, outdoor, paper, etc.

·   Ability to work well with others using tact and diplomacy.

·   Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

·   Strong time and project management skills.

·   Working knowledge of most Mac-based design programs.

·   Strong oral and written communication skills.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Graphic Design, etc.

·   Minimum 1 year experience as traffic and production coordinator.

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Builds and maintains strong vendor relationships. Coordinates production estimates and quotes, production costs and vendor discounts.

·         Adheres to and maintains Florida Hospital brand standards and its integral role in the organization, providing quality assurance of creative deliverables.

·         Maintains working knowledge of design and printing techniques; performs basic design edits and changes; creates all file formats for production and archives.

·         Ensures production and on-time delivery of all creative; coordinates and communicate deadlines and delivery with clients and vendors; submits advertising files to publications

·         Works closely with designers to identify appropriate production techniques to suit design and marketing goals.

·         Coordinates printer and press check approvals; coordinates approvals with designers and printers, as well as quarterly training sessions provided by printers for marketing team members.
